Other note, I knew a glamor girl that was very popular on tumblr but unrecognizable in real life by her tumblr photos, so what she did was really smart. Worked with her, stalkers would show up at her work place, but not recognize her. She was popular and successful with the account, but safe in real life cause she dressed down and didn’t glam up so when they showed up asking for her they didn’t recognize her. I think they asked her if she worked there once. It’s a smart thing to do. She never invited them or specifically meant for them to show up where she worked.
Unless your niche is specifically based around politics, political upheaval, and similar (say that it’s your niche) Avoid political statements in your account as it lessens the likelihood of a broader base appeal, which means less money. It also tends to incite crowd attacks, exposing, and in person physical aggressive interactions more than just art or non-political art. I’m pretty anti-that, simply cause I’m weak, sick, and have already been attacked to the point of nothing. I don’t need to poke people to make them attack me more and if you disappear you don’t want that attention.
Self: DO NOT VEER INTO POLITICAL TOPICS AT ALL. Unless you are prepared and willing to deal with possible onslaughts of vitriol both in security and emotionally.
