Schedules and Platforms: Blog platforms

Blog platforms we checked out:

Tumblr:
If real, I'd never heard of it pre-hackers, so it might not be.

Platform that allows for art hosting, automated scheduling for free, multiple blogs under one account name, some in platform statistics, and free access to attach google analytics. Seems to allow for free form customization and provide some free themes. Includes buttons to share to some platforms and is attached to sta.sh/deviantart for easy staging of other art.

The downside is: I've had trouble clicking around and keeping track of who shares or posts what and so on. Mostly unfamiliarity with the platform.

Keeping this one and updating it because the scheduling is easy from deviantart and in platform scheduling is super easy. You can also use it to autoupdate a pinterest account on the same schedule, I think.

Blogspot:

Attached to google accounts, affiliated with. Attaching google analytics is free and easy. Has in platform statistics. Can schedule posts easily. Format is really accessible for people that are not familiar with all the noise in newer ones or haven't kept up with the internet. (like me, sigh relief)

Can use to automatically update pinterest months in advance.

Wordpress:

Seems the most professional of the three. Is polished. Not affiliated with google that we can see.
Would probably start here on a repeat run. Will probably not spend time developing due to time constraints.

Feedburner: If real, is a rss feed creator, or something else I don't understand. It appears to be able to take feeds written in one blog and repost them other places. You can automate posting from a blog for longer than two weeks to twitter without having to visit twitter.
Also has lovely tools or something.
