Which one is better? This one? Or this one?

-----------
  1. Actual motherfucking World building.

Why have an ugly or inpersonal item, ever:

If you are conscious about the items you spend money on, you influence the world.

Cheap is good, and important for those of us with nothing or almost nothing, and the first thing to think about in personal survival. Personal survival is probably everyone’s first consideration.  Once nice cheap (goodwill, yardsale, traded, found by the side of the road, whatever) serviceable items are acquired--- choosing to replace them with intentional quality with an artists personal touch is better.

Each item you accrue can serve multiple purposes
  • Can be a reminder of who you are, to you,
  • can support the existence of creators, or be symbols worn of your love or allegiance to them,
  • can be picked to last longer than the average shirt that wears out in 3 months or a year.
  • (Er. or 3 years. Depends on what you do in yur life I guess, and how many shirts you have room to store or carry. )

If you buy only a  few items, each one can have impact and also pay a living wage to people in close proximity to you, or people that live or support ideologies you support.
