Need non-newspaper reference. Just factoid. Not a writing matter. Just a condition of living in a human body.

More or less we all die without water.  Anyone disagree with that? 
More or less none of us want mutant kids with dangling extra bits of skin to happen, like the cat I like, right?
More or less, no one wants to drink chemical crap when they get a cup of water, right? 

Oh good we all agree, every one put their foot down about water. Protect, it’s our life, not some dramatic hippie bullshit.
