Effort is best spent on strong presentation and networking. That decreases bounce rate, and if you are ‘charming’ or get ‘interactions’ once they are there, you are more likely to seduce the fucking customer into buying something. Er. or charm them.

 I think the ‘dumb version’ included in pinterest, twitter, and deviantart will satisfy most of your needs without interacting with a platform that is more complex. It is worth the effort if you want to learn a skill set more likely to consistently pay than art. (Depending. Or if you’re like interested in warfare or whatever.) In name of time for set up and review, would stick with the simpler versions for someone that doesn’t have anything set up.
